Debtors Controller – Pretoria East

About the role

The Medical Bureau in Pretoria East is seeking an experienced Debtors Controller to manage its accounts receivable function. This permanent, full‑time position requires a detail‑oriented professional who can handle fast‑paced debt collection and reconciliation tasks within a medical billing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage debtor accounts and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Handle aged debtor accounts, overdue payments and collection processes.
• Perform accurate account reconciliations and maintain up‑to‑date receivable records.
• Communicate professionally with debtors, medical practices and internal teams.
• Assist in resolving account queries, payment discrepancies and monitor payment arrangements.
• Work to deadlines in a high‑volume medical billing setting.

Required profile

• Matric / Grade 12 qualification (essential).
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in debtors control or debt collection.
• Strong knowledge of accounts receivable, credit control and collection processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Finance‑related qualification or medical billing experience is advantageous.
