Community Manager

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Community Manager to help a UK‑based brand build and nurture its online communities. The position is fully remote and ideal for a South African professional comfortable working across time zones.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day activity on social media channels and community platforms.
• Respond to queries, moderate comments and ensure brand‑aligned communication.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders in the UK and other regions.
• Track and report community metrics, engagement data and maintain content calendars.
• Utilise scheduling, forum and analytics tools to optimise community performance.
• Assist with content creation, campaign launches and virtual community events.
• Identify growth opportunities to increase engagement and strengthen brand loyalty.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in community management or social media.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Strong organisational abilities and capacity to handle multiple platforms.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and manage time effectively.
• High attention to detail and proactive problem‑solving.
• Experience with UK clients is a plus.
• Reliable laptop, stable internet connection and a quiet workspace.
