Clinic Supervisor

About the role

The Clinic Supervisor will lead the Collections Team at a SANBS site, ensuring blood procurement targets are met while maintaining the highest standards of donor and patient care. This role combines clinical expertise with operational oversight to deliver safe, efficient therapeutic procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the collections team to achieve daily and monthly blood collection targets.
• Maintain compliance with all policies, procedures, and quality standards.
• Ensure excellent customer service for donors and patients.
• Oversee risk management and quality assurance activities within the clinic.
• Participate in business planning, financial management, and reporting.

Required profile

• Registered Professional Nurse (RPN) with current SANC registration.
• Minimum 1 year experience in blood transfusion.
• Valid Code 8 or 10 driver’s licence and ability to drive a company vehicle when required.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends and variable hours.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift loads up to 14 kg, and climb stairs.
