Civil Site Supervisor – Renewable Energy Projects

About the role

The Civil Site Supervisor will oversee contractors' construction activities on renewable energy projects, focusing on civil balance‑of‑plant and grid interconnection works. Reporting to the Site Superintendent, the role ensures that all works meet client specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise construction works, monitoring progress and liaising with contractors.
• Maintain a detailed view of contractor planning to identify and mitigate potential clashes.
• Supervise on‑site activities, ensuring compliance with standards, specifications, and HSE practices.
• Witness inspections and tests, manage material handling, and control changes (RFI).
• Keep accurate records in line with specification and approved inspection and test plans.
• Plan and attend on‑site meetings, follow up on quality‑related actions, and close out agreed actions.
• Facilitate third‑party verification activities as required by quality control plans.
• Ensure overall compliance with internal policies, Corporate ESMS, IFC Standards, and Equator Principles.

• Willingness to recommend policy and procedure improvements.
• Capability to work collaboratively with the Site Superintendent and Project Manager.
