Business Management Consultant

About the role

Join FNB as a Business Management Consultant based in KwaZulu‑Natal. You will act as the primary relationship holder for Independent Financial Advisors (IFAs), delivering product training, answering queries and supporting their business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Provide product training and address IFA queries on Investments, Insurance and other FirstRand products.
• Keep IFAs updated on the latest product, policy enhancements and offerings.
• Proactively identify and pursue sales opportunities.
• Deliver exceptional, innovative service solutions that exceed advisor expectations.
• Assist IFAs in expanding their value proposition and growing their businesses.
• Render administrative support, including processing requests and quotations with timely turnaround.
• Facilitate technical interactions between IFAs and Product Specialists.
• Monitor competitor products, services and industry trends.

Required profile

• Matric (NQF5 advantageous; RE5 beneficial).
• 3‑5 years of broker consulting experience with IFAs and investments.
• Minimum 3 years of life assurance experience.
• Relevant class‑of‑business training.
• Experience with group risk, individual life and investment products.
• Strong sales orientation, client‑centric mindset and attention to detail.
• Curious, innovative, eager to learn and willing to travel locally.
