About the role
We are looking for a Business Development Executive to join our Germiston office. The role will focus on creating new business opportunities, managing client accounts and driving growth for Multilog’s integrated logistics solutions across Africa and beyond.
Key responsibilities
- Identify, qualify and pursue new leads in the logistics, supply‑chain and mining sectors.
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation and closing.
- Maintain and deepen relationships with existing clients, ensuring high satisfaction.
- Develop and implement strategies to expand market share and increase revenue.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to tailor logistics solutions to client needs.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
- At least 5 years of proven business development or sales experience, preferably in logistics, supply‑chain or mining.
- Minimum 3 years in a senior management role leading multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- MBA or Commercial Master degree is an advantage.
Required skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation abilities.
- High emotional intelligence and ability to build relationships at all organisational levels.
- Strong analytical and organisational skills, with a results‑driven mindset.
- Proficiency with standard business software and emerging technologies.
